On Sunday, June 9, 2025, the Shortridge Civic Association held a Summer Social event in Shortridge Park to celebrate the end of Spring and the beginning of our Summer season.

The civic association rented a bouncy house for the event (shown above), which neighborhood youngsters played in for hours. Neighbors brought a variety of food, drinks, snacks, and games, and met together in the park to catch up. We were thankful that Commissioner Todd M. Sinai came by to say hello.

Thank you to everyone who came by to chat, help set up, and clean up. It was a wonderful event and we look forward to doing it again next year!
