Where: Bridge opposite 517 Shortridge Dr.
Shortridge Park’s green oasis is home to a wonderful array of plants and animals, from massive sycamore and oak trees to migrating birds and pollinating insects. On a leisurely stroll through the park, writer-naturalist Mike Weilbacher introduces you to some of the park’s most intriguing natural neighbors – dawn redwoods, white pines, red-tailed hawks, and more. He’ll also interpret the ecology of Indian Creek, and include children’s activities.
